Wings, Seattle Kingdome
June 10, 1976, Seattle, Washington

"Wings - Rockshow"

A PRESENCE PRODUCTION

Mastered from 1" VTR tape.

NTSC, PCM, 103 minutes.

1. Venus and Mars / Rock show
2. Jet
3. Let Me Roll It
4. Spirits of Ancient Egypt
5. Medicine Jar
6. Maybe I'm Amazed
7. Live and Let Die
8. Bluebird
9. I've Just Seen A Face
10. Yesterday
11. You Gave Me The Answer
12. Magneto & Titanium Man
13. Go Now
14. Listen To What The Man Said
15. Let 'Em In
16. Time To Hide
17. Silly Love Songs
18. Beware My Love
19. Letting Go
20. Band On The Run
21. Hi Hi Hi
22. Soily

I did not write this in my notes, but in retrospect I probably should have: watching the video, it becomes pretty obvious that the film sequences are not all from the Seattle show. Right off the bat in "Rock Show" Denny Laine is wearing a sport coat, then a black shirt, then the sport coat again, etc. I also seem to remember reading somewhere that certain parts of the audio can come from other shows at times as well. This is likely where some of the out-of-sync moments people have noted in the past come from. I chose not to research all of that and defer to Wings experts.

This is a nice upgrade to my copy, minus a few tracks.

Thanks, Presence, for another great video. I was at the Kingdome show so this brings back a lot of memories. It also helps me see what
was going on on that stage. I had really lousy seats and the 'dome was huge. I saw Geraldo in the crowd, closer up than I saw the band!

I watched this last night, the first time in it's entirity. This is a awesome show, this band was really tight. And what I liked was that Paul let everyone have there little solo. Jimmy McCullogh was excellent. And Joe English would have blown Ringo out of the water.

Thanks for the people who seeded this for me!

Got around to watching this lastnight. Did a great job with it! Prolly the best version out there (with the exception of the McCartney Years clips). Dont understand why for a MPL release the picture is so dark compared to whats on the McCartney years. Nonetheless great job!

Finally found the time to watch it tonight, excellent stuff, the band was really cooking and dig that terrific bass sound, be it Paul, Denny or even Jimmy playing, now the bass is all but buried int he mix, even at Paul's current concerts!

The Hunger City link seems to be dead, will go looking again.

Hi Folks,
I realise that I'm "EXTRAORDINARILY LATE" on this one,
but if anyone still has this on their Hard Drive and could
open it up for a while (even if its only a couple of kb's)
I would be immensely grateful.

As I said, I don't really care how long it takes to complete,
but, after seeing the screen capture comparsons
I would love to see what Jason has done with this,
after being soooo disappointed with other releases of this show!

Thanks in anticipation

Tim (UK)

Just a quick note to say a HUGE THANK YOU
to whoever has just jumped on this for me.

Thank You, to whoever jumped on this torrent for me last night,
unfortunately, I haven't been able to get any data from from you
as yet (since you came on last night, at about Midnight UK time).

I checked the Tracker Stats, and your IP is appearing in "Red"
so I'm guessing that you're probably Firewalled.

If you could forward your ports through your router
(or maybe you have Peerblock running and that is blocking it)
that should open it up.

Thanks in anticipation

I accidentally deleted some of the reviews of this release while cleaning up the thread. I grabbed some of them from an archive site:

Quote:
Thanks for deciding to release this, it's very much appreciated . This looks to be a nice upgrade to the version I currently have and a very nice companion piece to the severely truncated official release that I recently picked up.

Quote:
I've had many versions of this show, a couple sourced from laserdisc, and this is most definitely the best I've seen, short of the seven songs included on the new McCartney DVD of course. The cleanest transfer, highest bitrate, the only one with lossless audio, and it was all in sync unlike some sources, most notably "Jet". Thanks a million for the upgrade, very well done, as always .

Quote:
I've only made it half way through but so far well worth the download.
Better than any boot version I've seen. Now I just need people to keep
on leeching to get my ratio on this show up to par.

Quote:
Absolutely FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for sharing this. It's baffling that the complete show has not been officially released. I think this concert contains Macca's best solo work. The picture is cropped slightly different from my vhs, but this runs at the correct speed...the vhs runs way too fast.

Swisher67,
Thanks so much for helping out with this.

I've finished it up now, but will leave it up for a while
(just in case anyone jumps on), so you can stop seeding
now (if you need to use your bandwidth for any other torrents).

I'll keep it on my Hard Drive as it is, so if I'm not online
(and anyone needs it), just shoot me a pm.

Thnaks again to ALL involved.

Tim (UK)

Well, what can I say, apart from a HUGE THANK YOU to Jason
for all of the hard work that he did on this.

Like many others who have seen/grabbed this, I've had a few different
versions that I've "purloined" across the years.
I "was" a MASSIVE fan of this show from hearing the triple album
that my brother had for his 13th b'day, (I was only 9 yrs old at the time),
and I was already massively into The Beatles by this time, but I digress...

This is without doubt THE best version that I've seen of any of this footage
(outside of The McCartney Collection that someone mentioned earlier)
and it looks/sounds just fantastic when its played loud through our system
and it surely has to be the best that we're gonna get outside of any Official Release!

Thanks again Jason, you've made a middle aged Macca fan very happy indeed

I know I'm a little late but I would love to download this...
Apparently there are no seeders providing the file at the moment!
Could anyone of you help me, please?
Thanks for your patience and time...
