I'm by no means an audiophile or at least a knowledgeable one, but these sound crisp and clear, its almost ludicrous. Thx again to all involved. :D

I will be taking down the KISS direct downloads in several hours, so get them while the gettin' is still good. If not able to now, you will likely find them on the torrent circuit later, too.

"Where's the link" posts will result in a slap across the mouth. Read the thread.

OK so far: Ace > Alive > KISS

I can hear Clutch covering the almighty fuck out of "She" from Alive. :rockout

'She' is my favorite KISS track, hands down. Pick up Rock and Roll Over. It's half price here and has 'Mr. Speed' and 'Makin' Love' :rockout Tough to go wrong with that pick IMO.

ever heard the original Wicked Lester demo track? With flute.

Yeah, I have. I'm happy the direction it took let's say.

It may well be. "Virtually', may be used loosely here. I've only five SBD tracks to judge by. Three from Wildwood NJ '75 and two from Cleveland, OH. Two of the shows used for the ALIVE! album. Think I may pull those out again to give another spin tonight.

My favorite albums after Alive II, have always been Music From The Elder (I may be one of the few people who like this record) and Creatures of The Night. The rest of their albums, I am not to keen on - except for some certain songs here and there.

Has double Platinum been remastered. The 97 remaster is one of the worst sounding in the KISS catalog IMO.

Looks like my friend Wooda is picking up the torch at demonoid.

Paul Stanley solo LP - Vinyl transfer

16 Bit http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1518350/3271643/
24 Bit http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1518300/3271643/

KISS - Pure Vinyl Transfer Series 2008

Paul Stanley (1978)

What these are: Pure Vinyl Transfers 16Bit & 24Bit depending on your download preference. Just straight analog to digital transfer, however there has been click, pop, & noise reduction in some cases but other than that it is what it is.

What these are not: These are not the AnalogisKing versions. Although some of the titles sounded great, some were inconsistent in quality. Due to the fact that no linage was made available it makes it hard to estimate just why the differences in quality exist, therefore I am making these pure vinyl transfers available.

If you want to compare what to expect from my transfers, simply download the version of “Rip It Out” from the following link http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6HVQ095T. If you think it sounds better than the already posted version then you will want to download this series, if you are happy with the AnalogisKing versions, then don’t download this series.

All titles will be made available in 16Bit, 24Bit & eventually when I am done DVD-Audio discs.

it sure is

the one thing they did do, though, is remove th digi-grunge crackling at the beginning of some of the songs. Not sure if they actually removed it or did a new transfer, but it's gone. Too bad the mastering is pushed harder than Tori Spelling try to get an emmy.

Am I alone in thinking the 'solo; albums are completly without merit? I mean, New York Groove is as good as it gets between all of them and even that was pretty mediocre?

I Love Aces solo album start to finish. Pauls I like about half the songs, Genes is OK , a little too pompous for me. and Peters just plain sucks. A remastered version of that would be like polishing a terd.

I actually don't care too much for that song but enjoy most of what else is on the album.

I have an early 90s Japanese pressing of DP The first set of mini lp issues there. It does not have that diginoise you are talking about from the original cds my only complaint is that they never corrected the rock bottom intro. you can hardly hear it.

(Sorry I guess I got a little too excited and wanted too much of a good thing. I did not mean to sound selfish or offend anyone  )
